<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for displaying a plurality of images where influence by the interference of light is reduced without deteriorating image separation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device is equipped with pixel trains 7 nearly parallel with each other in a longitudinal direction and a light shielding thin film 4a, and provided with a plurality of stripes 10 on the back of the surface provided with the light shielding film 4a of a parallel barrier 4 nearly perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the pixel trains. By such constitution, the influence by the interference of the light such as Newton's rings is reduced, and also the image is diffused to the longitudinal directions of the parallax barrier 4 and the pixel trains 7 by the stripes 10, whereby different kinds of images are prevented from being mixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
