PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive treating device for organic halogen compounds, which abolishes water treatment accompanying treatment in a solution and shorten a reaction time. SOLUTION: A box body 2 introducing a solid 1 adhering/adsorbing the organic halogen compounds, a water adding mechanism 3 adding water to the inside of the box body 2, an alkali substance adding mechanism 4 for adding an alkali substance to the inside of the box body 2, and a microwave irradiation mechanism 5 for irradiating the solid 1 added with water and the alkali substance in the inside of the box body 2 with a microwave are provided.
