A floor-standing support 1 for an LCD or plasma flat panel display 2 comprises a pair of parallel upright display support members 15, 16 coupled together in spaced apart relationship and, at least one interchangeable, non-load bearing decorative panel 12 extending between the display support members 15,16. A second panel 13 may be provided and is located behind the first. The support members may extend upwards from a wheeled base 4. Mounting means 33 allows a display screen to be movably mounted to the support. In a further embodiment the support may be secured to a wall via hinges [61,62, Fig. 7] such that the stand can rotate relative to the wall about a vertical axis. To enable rotation, one support member is provided with a wheel [58a, Fig. 6] and the other is provided with a foot [56a, Fig. 6]. The support stand provides an attract display that can be used at exhibitions. |
