A portable device for managing exercise history is provided to enable a user to update an exercise program according as user's strength grows and to take exercise according to the updated exercise program. A portable device(200) for managing exercise history is connected to a server(100). If the server transmits an exercise program, where a target speed and target heartbeat rates are set, to the portable device, the portable device stores the exercise program, inputted via a transceiving module(2) and an interface module(3) under control of a control module(1), at an exercise program module(4). When a user takes exercise according to an exercise path while carrying the portable device, the controller calculates exercise speed by using variations of location information per unit time received from a GPS receiving module(6). The control module stores the heartbeat rates measured by a pulse meter(8) at an exercise history storage module(5). The control module is connected to an inputting unit(10) which inputs a signal for requesting transmission of the heartbeat rates to the control module, and an outputting unit(9) which outputs the target speed, the target heartbeat rates, real exercise speed, and real exercise heartbeat rates. |
