PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter solving the problem that, for replenishing preliminary seedlings put on a preliminary seedling conveyor disposed on one side of a traveling machine body onto a seedling stand on the other side, a relevant operator needs to e.g. take such a posture as to stride over a seat of the traveling machine body, leading to increased burden on the operator. SOLUTION: The transplanter has the following construction and mechanism: A preliminary seedling conveyor 20 is mounted on one side of the transplanter, and connected via a hinge 35 so as to be divided into roller conveyor portions of a bass roller conveyor 31 and an unloading conveyor portion 32. The unloading conveyor portion 32 can be displaced toward the inside of the traveling machine body, and when the unloading conveyor portion 32 is displaced, a shutter 40 attached to the base roller conveyor 31 stops the conveyance of the preliminary seedlings, while when both of the conveyor portions 31 and 32 are aligned in series, the preliminary seedlings on the base roller conveyor 31 side are conveyed to the unloading conveyor portion 32.
