A method for manufacturing a transparent electrode and a transparent electrode manufactured by the same are provided to manufacture a uniform thin layer of carbon nanotube on a solid substrate and form a transparent polymer substrate on an upper part of the thin layer of carbon nanotube by curing a precursor, thereby significantly increasing adhesion stability on the polymer substrate of the thin layer. A method for manufacturing a conductive transparent electrode comprises the following steps. A thin layer of carbon nanotube(2) is formed on a solid substrate(1). A precursor(3) capable of forming a flexible transparent substrate is coated on the thin layer of carbon nanotube. The precursor is cured so as to make a flexible transparent substrate on which the thin layer of carbon nanotube is fixed. The solid substrate is removed. The solid substrate is selected from a filtration membrane, a metal substrate, an opaque inorganic substrate, a transparent inorganic substrate and a polymer substrate.
