<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus capable of improving convenience in the execution of required processing, a processing method and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The processing apparatus is provided with an image pickup part for picking up an image of an article, a table for correspondingly expressing the article and processing contents, a retrieval part for retrieving processing contents corresponding to the article of which the image is to be picked up from the table, and an execution part for executing the retrieved processing contents.
