PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of protecting privacy of a patient even when a nurse call master unit comprises a display for displaying patient information. SOLUTION: The nurse call master unit comprises an LCD 13 for displaying patient information and an IC tag reader for reading ID information transmitted from an IC tag which emits weak radio waves, and a server which stores patient information comprises an ID transmitter information storage unit. When the IC tag reader reads ID information from an IC card, the server collates the ID information with ID information stored in the ID transmitter information storage unit and if ID information matching the read ID information is stored, patient information can be displayed on the LCD. A patient's display area 27 is touched and a detailed indication button 28 is touched, so that pop-up display of a patient information picture 29 on the LCD 13 is performed.
