<p>The igniter (10) for a spin-free projectile (12), comprises a first and a second unlocking criterion for safety mechanism (14) of the igniter, and sensors (20) spaced from each other for pressure and/or the temperature difference measurement. The first unlocking criterion is used for firing acceleration of the igniter. The respective pressure and/or temperature difference measured value is compared by a comparator with a given threshold value (26). The corresponding comparison signal forms the second unlocking criterion.
