A digital image processing apparatus comprising an RFID system, and a control method thereof are provided to recognize the contact address of a subject and classify output image data according to the contact address of the subject, thereby easily transmitting the image data to the subject. A RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag(200,210) stores the contact address of a subject. A photographing unit(10) photographs the image of the subject and generates input image data. A RFID reader reads the contact address of the subject from the RFID tag. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor) combines the contact address of the subject and the input image data to generate output image data. The RFID reader transmits the output image data to the subject.
