PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a macromolecular tannin as a product, which is gentle to humans and environmentally friendly, by imparting new properties to the macromolecular tannin, without using chemicals. SOLUTION: A method for producing a high-viscosity solution, a gel or resin characterized by treatment of aqueous solution of the macromolecular tannin with hydrogen peroxide and a peroxidase is provided.
