<p>A driving device for a display such as LCD or PDP, and a display equipped with the same are disclosed. The driving device is equipped with plural timing controllers, and each of the timing controllers is configured to control a part of the column drivers. As a result, a signal transfer distance becomes shorter than when using only one timing controller. As the number of column drivers allotted to one timing controller is small, it is not necessary that a signal transfer rate between the timing controller and the column driver should be high. Due to the reduction of the signal transfer distance and the signal transfer rate, the deterioration of signal in a large size display can be prevented and the large size display panel can be manufactured by a COG method, thereby reducing a manufacturing cost can be reduced.</p> |
