The system (1) has a medical device (3) designed to detect an object in two dimensions, where a user interface (5) is effectively connected with the device (3). The interface is designed to produce a control signal for controlling the device based on the interface, and to transmit the control signal to the medical device. The user interface has a voice input unit (7) to produce a voice data set. The unit (7) has a training module (11), which is designed to interpret the voice data set and to produce the training control signal based on interpretation results. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a medical device.
