PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a comparison result for a plurality of program files. SOLUTION: The file comparison method for comparing a first file and a second file defined by class information including a member and a method comprises an extraction step for extracting members and methods defined by the class information from the first file and the second file; a determination step for comparing the member and method extracted from the first file with the member and method extracted from the second file to determine whether both the files are the same or not; and an output step for outputting the comparison result.
