<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component management system capable of managing components so that only approved components may be applied and utilized in principle by providing information of substitute components. <P>SOLUTION: The component management system provided with an approved component database for registering component data of components approved as purchase targets on the basis of a fixed standard, an approval section terminal for updating the approved component database on the basis of the approval processing result of component information provided from a component supplier and a design terminal for selecting optional components for design from components registered in the approved component database is also provided with a means for setting a substitute component for a required component stored in the approved component database from the approval section terminal and a means for deciding the component status of the substitute component set in the retrieved component and displaying the approved component together with the substitute component for an approved component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
