<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid industrial vehicle, capable of suppressing a bad influence of heating of an engine on a battery that is a power source for a traveling motor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid forklift 10 uses a vehicle driving motor 23 as a traveling driving means and uses an engine 25 and a motor generator 28 as a driving means of a hydraulic pump. The battery 29 that is the power source for the traveling motor 23 and the motor generator 28 is disposed beneath a floor 47 in front of the engine 25.
