PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of saving energy by improving heat insulating performance. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator comprising a heat insulating housing 10 formed by packing a foamed heat insulating material 41 between an outer case 31 and an inner case 32, a radiation pipe 33 disposed at an inner face side of the outer case 31, and a vacuum heat insulating panel 13 formed by covering a core material 14 with a jacketing material 15, decompressed inside and provided with a groove portion 11 to which the radiation pipe 33 is fitted, the vacuum heat insulating panel 13 has a projecting portion 12 formed on a rear face of a face provided with the groove portion 11 in opposition to the groove portion 11, and having a width perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, wider than the groove portion 11.
