PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing having a longer life for keeping a cage in a more stably guided condition while suppressing contact wear between the cage and a housing or a shaft or contact friction between each roller and the cage. SOLUTION: The thrust bearing 1 comprises a pair of bearing rings 2, 3 arranged opposing each other in the axial direction, a plurality of rolling elements 4 rollingly arranged between the pair of bearing rings 2, 3, and the annular cage 5 arranged between the pair of bearing rings 2, 3 and having a plurality of pockets 7 for holding the rolling elements 4. The inner peripheral face of the cage 5 is a cage guide face which is guided by the shaft 57. On the cage guide face, a convex portion 5a is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
