PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tent for camping which excellently maintains two characteristics essentially contradictory to each other, i.e. permeability and waterproofness, over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The tent is set up by lifting canvas 2 by at least two supports 3, and suspending the canvas between the supports 3 like a suspended roof. A stretch-proof fabric tape 5 is arranged on the canvas between the supports along a straight line connecting the supports 3, and each end of the stretch-proof fabric tape is fixed to the vicinity of each support 3.
