<p>The addition of a skin modifying agent to a macrolide having molecular weight between 500 and 1200 Daltons unexpectedly improves the delivery of the macrolide through human skin when compared to the drug mixed with alcohol alone. The skin modifying agent can be formulated with suitable excipients to form a lotion, ointment, cream, or gel for treating psoriasis and other skin disorders.</p> |
