<p>The building material comprises a filler of comminuted plant material (preferably Miscanthus or a mixture of Miscanthus with at least one further renewable raw material such as pine wood), with a residual moisture content of ca. 15 % and a specific weight of ca. 130 kg/m<SUP>3</SUP>, bonding agent and a mineraliser, whereby CaCO<SUB>3</SUB> and MgCO<SUB>3</SUB> have a weight ratio to each other of 60 to 40 to 70 to 30, preferably 61 to 34 to 64 to 35 and the binding agent and the mineraliser have a weight ratio to each other of 63 to 37 to 72 to 28. The building material is particularly suitable for the production of external walls for residential buildings, rapid-assembly boards, absorption layers for noise-abatement walls, plastering, rendering and thermal insulation render.</p> |
