摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of enhancing light absorption efficiency and light energy conversion efficiency per area. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion element has a first electrode 1 which is a working electrode to which a sensitized dye-carried semiconductor layer 2 is attached, a second electrode 3 facing the semiconductor layer 2, and a charge transfer layer 4 containing iodine and interposed between the first electrode 1 and the second electrode 3, and light is incident from the first electrode 1 side, and the second electrode 3 reflects incident light 5 to the semiconductor layer 2.
