Disclosed is an electrolyte membrane for a fuel cell, which is reinforced with a porous membrane, and which is characterized by immobilizing a radica l scavenger in the porous membrane. The reinforced electrolyte membrane can prevent the leakage of the radical scavenger out of the system and can act a s a solid polymer-type electrolyte membrane having excellent chemical durabi lity.
