<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing the energy required for humidifying the gas supplied to a fuel cell for improved energy efficiency as the entire system, for more compact system, stable system operation, and lower cost. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel gas humidifier 20, a first oxidant gas humidifier 22, and a second oxidant gas humidifier 21. The fuel gas humidifier 20 performs humidification by heating the water content contained in an exhaust fuel gas using the hot water of cooling water that cools heat at power generation with a fuel cell 11. The first oxidant humidifier 22 performs humidification by utilizing the water content contained in the exhaust oxidant gas. The second oxidant gas humidifier 21 performs humidification using the hot water of the cooling water.
