PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing apparatus for a cartridge designed to carry out a testing treatment of a pathogen to be an infection source, a toxic test specimen, etc., in a completely cut off state and rapidly and easily perform a test by automating the testing treatment and minimizing the apparatus. SOLUTION: The testing apparatus 100 for the cartridge is equipped with a casing 5. Furthermore, the casing 5 comprises a cartridge 3 installed and provided with a plurality of chambers 21 to 25 for housing solutions X and Y and flow channels 26, 26, 27 and 27 between a substrate 1 and an elastic body 2 superimposed and installed on the substrate 1 and a liquid feeding apparatus 4 arranged for applying external force to the elastic body 2, moving the solutions X and Y present in the flow channels 26, 26, 27 and 27 or the chambers 21 to 25 and thereby automatically carrying out the testing treatment. The casing 5 is a safety cabinet hermetically closed against the outside air and provided with a bacterial removing filter 63 in an exhaust passage communicating from the interior of the casing 5 with the exterior.
