PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outrigger device for a truck which is miniaturized, excellent in operability and handling property, and provided with a locking mechanism capable of expecting reliable locking. SOLUTION: The outrigger device 1 has a locking mechanism 3 which is capable of allowing an expansion rod 1a in a tapering manner in the outwardly expanding direction of a truck 2, and installing and fixing the expansion rod 1a in the expanded condition to the ground G. The locking mechanism 3 comprises a cam member 3a which is mounted so as to be turned together with the expansion rod 1a with a turning and pivotably supporting part P of the expansion rod 1 as a supporting point, and a weight member 3b supported so as to be turnable and pivotable below the cam member 3a so that a load for urging the open end side of the expansion rod 1a in the expanded condition to the direction of the ground G to an arc-shaped locking face 9 when being slidably engaged with the offset arc-shaped engagement face 9 of the cam member 3a to be turned in the same direction as the turn of the expansion rod 1a in the expanding direction.
