PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize smooth carriage of a sheet material by reducing friction force to be generated between the sheet material and the guide ring of a guide device. SOLUTION: The guide device 30 comprises an approximately columnar guide roller member 31 rotatably journaled to a roller supporting member 32, a bearing 45 fixed to the guide roller member 31 rotatably relative to the guide roller member 31 around its rotating shaft, and the annular guide rings 34 mounted on the bearing 45 rotatably relative to the guide roller member 31 at its outer periphery side around its rotating shaft and having flange portions 34b extending to the radial direction of the guide roller member 31. A continuous sheet 5 to be moved between the pair of guide rings 34, 34 with the rotation of the guide roller member 31 is guided in the carrying direction while being supported at both cross edges by the flange portions 34b of the pair of guide rings 34, 34.
