RESTORING PROCESS FOR METHOD HAMMER BIT

A method for regenerating a worn part of a hammer bit is minimize economic loss by developing a method for growing the worn part when a part of a hammer bit is worn out, thereby enabling the hammer bit to be used continuously. A method for regenerating a worn part of a hammer bit comprises the steps of: cleaning a worn part(4a) of the hammer bit and removing alien substances from the worn part when a hammer bit(4) is worn out; growing the worn part by contacting a welding rod having a composition comprising 0.15 to 0.25 wt.% of carbon, 0.30 to 0.40 wt.% of manganese, 0.40 to 0.60 wt.% of silicon, 2.50 to 2.90 wt.% of chromium and the balance of iron based on 100 wt.% of the total composition with the cleaned worn part and leaving maintaining the contact state for 5 to 6 seconds, thereby performing an arc welding operation; and grinding and finishing a grown part(4b) using a grinder.
