PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect surely an approximately quiescent state by simple signal processing, in a non-contact switch device using a moving body detection sensor unsuitable for detecting the approximately quiescent state of a human body or a part of the human body. SOLUTION: The non-contact switch device has a Doppler sensor 100 having an oscillator 11, a transmitting antenna 12, a receiving antenna 13 and a detection part 14; and a signal processing part 18 for performing signal processing of an output signal outputted from the Doppler sensor, and transmitting a control signal to an apparatus. The non-contact switch device has a characteristic wherein the signal processing part has the first signal holding circuit for detecting a detection object in a detection object range and mitigating decline of a voltage value of a changed output signal, and the first comparator for comparing a voltage value of an output signal output from the signal holding circuit with a threshold determined beforehand and outputting an ON/OFF signal to the apparatus.
