PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food storage container which can provide a favorite indication portion throughout the inside of a container portion, which enables a person to greatly enjoy a meal because he/she can see various messages along with the progress of the meal, and which enables him/her to freely change the indication portion. SOLUTION: This food storage container is equipped with a container body 1 which is composed of a transparent bottom wall portion 10, a tubular transparent inside wall portion 11 raised on the outer periphery of the bottom wall portion 10, and a transparent outside wall portion 12 folded outward from an upper edge 11a of the inside wall portion 11, so as to form a lower opening-shaped tubular void between the inside wall portion 11 and the outside wall portion 12. The food storage container also includes a shallow tray-like bottom lid 2 which is detachably attached in a sealed state to a lower edge of the outside wall portion 12 of the container body 1, and which forms a bottom void between the bottom wall portion 10 and the bottom lid 2. The food storage container also includes a strip-shaped sheet 3 which is insertably/extractably housed in the tubular void in a tubularly wound state, and where a portion 30 for indicating a message such as a character/pattern/figure/photograph is annexed to an inner surface. Additionally, the food storage container also includes a planar sheet 4 which is housed in the bottom void in such a manner as to freely protrude from/recede into it, and where a message indication portion 40 is annexed to a top surface.
