摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve green afterglow characteristics in a light-emitting device such as a PDP or the like constituted by using a phosphor, and improve moving picture display performance. SOLUTION: Eu<SP>2+</SP>is used as a green phosphor in the light-emitting center, while a high brightness Eu activated silicate based green phosphor (Ca<SB>1-x</SB>M1<SB>x</SB>)<SB>2-e</SB>MgSi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>7</SB>:Eu<SB>e</SB>in which green afterglow is improved is used to constitute the light-emitting device such as the PDP or the like and the display device. In the formula, M1 is an element of one kind or more selected from a group consisting of Sr and Ba, while x to express composition ratio of the component M1, and e to express the composition ratio of Eu are respectively 0.01≤x≤0.5, and 0.001≤e≤0.2.
