An ultrasonic processing device is provided to make it possible to reduce driving energy of an ultrasonic element and manufacturing cost. The ultrasonic processing device is comprised of an ultrasonic element (m1) driven to generate ultrasonic wave, a propagation medium receiving chamber (14) that is arranged to contact with an object to be processed and the ultrasonic element (m1) and that receives the ultrasonic propagation medium (e) for transmitting the ultrasonic wave to the object to be processed. Since the propagation medium receiving chamber (14) is arranged to contact with the object to be processed and the ultrasonic element (m1) and receives the ultrasonic propagation medium (e) for transmitting the ultrasonic wave to the object to be processed, energy to drive the ultrasonic element (m1) can be reduced. Further, since the ultrasonic propagation medium (e) can transmit the ultrasonic wave generated by the ultrasonic element (m1) to the object to be processed, the degree of freedom for design can be high in the case that a position of an object receiving unit is set with respect to the ultrasonic element (m1).
