PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active headrest device accomplishing protection of a head and cervix and accomplishing avoidance of whiplash injury and avoidance of cervix disorder by accomplishing the state of upward movement and inclination to a front side of a headrest before rising of the head at a high speed at collision. SOLUTION: The headrest device for the active headrest is constituted by respective means provided on a seat back, and the respective means have a constitution for accomplishing rising/forward inclination of the headrest G through a drive body device C provided on a frame and operated by impact, a wire cooperated with the drive body device C and lifted in the seat back, a lifting device E engaged with the wire, and a headrest bracket (headrest device H) cooperated with a lifting body/cylinder part of the lifting device E.
