PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator glass door capable of avoiding the breakage of glass, prevents foreign matter from being inserted into a hoistway through the gap formed between the door stops of the glass door by customers in the car, and preventing visibility from being obstructed by other members such as a door stop rubber and transparent vinyl. SOLUTION: In this biparting elevator glass door without a frame at the door stops, a glass door 1 is formed of a double laminated glass so stamped as to form a step at the door stops. The projection of the step formed on one glass door 1 is so intruded into the recess of the step formed on the other glass door 1 as to be disposed in a shiplap joint. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
