PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for increasing an amount of interaction detection when detecting an interaction between a detection-use substance and a target substance by using a bioassay-use substrate, and to improve its detection precision and S/N ratio. SOLUTION: The bioassay-use substrate, which is used such that a sample solution is dropped on a spot area on which a plurality of detection-use substances are immobilized, and the interaction between the detection-use substances and the target substance existing in the sample solution is detected by using the degree of a fluorescence, is characterized in that a prescribed number of spot areas are disposed in a well arranged in the surface of the substrate, and a minute concavo-convex structure is formed continuously on the bottom making up the spot area. For example, the minute concavo-convex structure in a nanometer order is formed continuously on the spot area by using a microprocessing technology, thereby increasing an immobilizing surface area.
