A suction drain apparatus is provided to discharge pore water in the soft ground by connecting a drain board and a vacuum pump directly. A suction drain apparatus comprises a main body(100), a sand layer(2) and soft clay ground piled in the main body in order to promote the drainage of pore water, a drain board(6) driven in the soft clay ground vertically to the appointed length to drain off pore water, a drain connector located on the top of the drain board to connect to an upper drain system, an upper pressure plate installed on the top of the drain connector and the top of the soft clay ground to connect the drain connector and the soft clay ground tightly to prevent the loss of vacuum, an upper pressure system and a cover(12) for the upper pressure system installed to the top of the upper pressure plate and the drain connector tightly to apply pressure, an air compressor(8) connected to the top of one side of the upper pressure system and the cover to apply overburden pressure to the upper pressure system and the cover, a vacuum pump connected to the top of the drain connector to apply vacuum pressure to the drain connector, a LVDT(Liner Variable Differential Transformer)(11) connected to the top of the other side of the upper pressure system and the cover to measure the displacement of the upper pressure system and the cover according to pressure, and valves(9,10,3) installed to one side and the other side of a discharge rod connected to the vacuum pump and installed to a discharge rod installed to the bottom of the main body to discharge pore water. |
