<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for retaining airtightness around a facility installed in an opening of a ceiling or the like, and duct ventilation fan using the method, providing installment of a grill or the duct ventilation fan in ventilation grill installment part or a general inspection hole portion or the like that is not a heat insulating airtight type, without inhibiting heat insulating airtightness of the portion, and facilitating inspection and cleaning by opening the portion if it is an inspection hole. <P>SOLUTION: The ventilation fan is comprised of a single box shaped housing 1 having exhaust duct connection openings 3a, 3b and intake duct connection openings 4a, 4b, a fan 10 arranged in the housing 1, and a motor 14 installed on a bottom face of the housing 1 to drive the fan 10. It is characterized by that an airtight sheet 9 with size sufficient to be stacked on an airtight sheet stretched around an installment part of the ventilation fan at construction, is arranged between the bottom face of the housing 1 and a motor attachment plate 12 for installing the motor 14 on the bottom face of the housing 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
