The control apparatus is fo ruse by persons with hand and arm handicap and involvse the use of the tongue invisible in its employment, with head movements completely unhindered. The position of the tongue is established by one or more pointers connected with a fixed position of the tongue. The apparatus is of particular utility in the operation of switches, knobs and buttons and has a particular application with wheelchairs. The speech faculty of the user is of prime importance.
