<p>It is an object to prevent a display device provided with an active matrix substrate from deteriorating display quality even in the case that a driving frequency rises up as the display device is made large in size and its resolution is highly enhanced. In an active matrix substrate of a liquid crystal display device, a charge share control signal line (GshLj) is disposed along each gate line (GLj) and charge share TFT devices (12), the number of which is equal to that of gate lines, are provided for each source line (SLi). A gate terminal of the charge share TFT device (12) is connected with the charge share control signal line (GshLj) and its source and drain terminals are connected with its adjacent source lines (SLi, SLi+1) through their connecting electrode portions (SCi, SCi+1), respectively. A signal (Gsh) to turn on the charge share TFT device (12) for predetermined duration (Tsh) for every horizontal period of time is applied to each charge share control signal line (GashLj).</p> |
