<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for an endoscope in which the rotation of a manipulation element on the hand side is transmitted through a manipulation wire to a treatment section at the distal end thereby the direction of the treatment section is smoothly changed to an optional angle. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment instrument for the endoscope includes: the treatment section 2 arranged at the distal end; the manipulation wire 3 with the distal end connected to the treatment section and extending to the proximal end side; a coil sheath 4 in which the manipulation wire is inserted and which is extended to the proximal end side; a manipulation element main body 6 rotatably connected to the proximal end side of the coil sheath; the manipulation element 7 arranged on the manipulation element main body so as to be moved along the axial direction L of the proximal end side of the coil sheath and connected to the proximal end part of the manipulation wire to manipulate the treatment section through the manipulation wire; and an outer tube 5 which is provided so as to cover the coil sheath and whose distal end at least is freely rotatable to the coil sheath. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
