PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that while a doctor or the like visually idendifies a patient with the patient information (sex, birth date) of medical records, misidentification is caused only by character information to misundestand patients.

SOLUTION: This patient information output method includes a step B2 for acquiring the sex and the birth date of a selected patient; a step B3 for calculating the age of the patient from his or her birth date; a step B4 for acquiring patient illustration data corresponding to the sex and the age group of the patient from a patient illustration information storage part 32 (or patient illustration information storage part 13); and a step B5 for outputting patient illustration data as well as patient specification information.
