A hard disk drive is provided to preclude an ROP(rapid off track phenomenon) resulting from mechanical deformation caused by a different in heat expansion of a voice coil motor and a base by suppress the mechanical deformation through a heat deformation suppress part. A hard disk drive comprises a VCM(Voice coil motor) yoke(50), a base, and a heat deformation suppress part(70). A bobbin(45) wound with a coil(46) is inserted in the VCM yoke. The VCM yoke is supported by the base, and the base is made of a different material from the VCM yoke. The heat deformation suppress part is made of the same material as the VCM yoke, and arranged between the VCM yoke and the base to suppress the mechanical deformation resulting from a different in heat expansion coefficient of the VCM yoke and the base. The base has a groove part(64) recessed at predetermined depth in the thickness direction to insert the heat deformation suppress plate.
