PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid treatment apparatus in which liquid suspended solids can efficiently be removed surely by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The liquid treatment apparatus 20 is provided with a sludge discharge part 30 having a cylindrical outer peripheral wall part 31, a cylindrical inner peripheral wall part 32 and a bottom surface part 33 parallel to an X-Y plane. A cam part 32a, the top end of which is inclined along the circumferential direction of the cylindrical inner peripheral wall part having its center in the shaft center H1, is formed in the inner peripheral wall part 32. An inclined part 33a inclined along the circumferential direction of a circle having its center in the shaft center H1 is formed in the bottom surface part 33. A scraper supporting shaft 41 is supported by the top end of the inner peripheral wall part 32, rotated around the shaft center H1 by the rotation of an output shaft 36a of a drive unit 36 and moved vertically along the shape of the top end of the inner peripheral wall part 32 while keeping its horizontal state.
