<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line type lighting system capable of securing sufficient brightness, using an LED as a light source, and capable of providing sufficiently uniform line illumination. <P>SOLUTION: This line type lighting system uses the surface luminescent LED 32 as the light source, a cylindrical mirror 40 with an inner face formed of a material having high light reflectance is arranged to surround an emission face thereof, a base end part of an optical fiber bundle 50 is inserted into the cylindrical mirror 40, a tip part of the optical fiber bundle 50 is linearly arrayed and held, one side face of a light guide panel 70 is arranged in the tip part, and line light is emitted from the other side face of the light guide panel 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
