A method and a system for observing a cell or a tissue sample, which is difficult to be observed by a conventional method, are provided to be used for biopsy of tumor cells and easily observe the blood vessel system or the lymphatic system by having the spatial resolution of maximum several hundreds nanometers and high contrast. A method for observing a cell or a tissue sample in which magnetic nano-particles are captured or bound comprises the steps of: (a) injecting the magnetic nano-particles(20) into the cell or the tissue sample(10); (b) applying an magnetic field to the surrounding of the cell or the tissue sample in which the magnetic nano-particles are selectively captured or bound using an external magnetic field generator(30); and (c) monitoring the optical change of the cell or the tissue sample caused by the displacement of the magnetic nano-particles activated by the magnetic field using a confocal microscope. A system for observing a cell or a tissue sample comprises a cell or a tissue sample to be subject to observation; magnetic nano-particles which are selectively captured or bound to the cell or the tissue sample; a magnetic field generator which applies an magnetic field from the outside of the cell or the tissue sample to the inside of the cell or the tissue sample; and a confocal microscopy(40) which observes the optical change of the cell or the tissue sample induced by the magnetic nano-particles activated by the magnetic field.
