<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and certainly switch the operating state of the power supply of a TV receiving set over to a standby state and to an on-state, in linkage with its user's going out and coming home. <P>SOLUTION: A predetermined signal wave is periodically sent from a portable telephone terminal (#1), and a control section determines that a signal receiving circuit becomes in a state that the signal wave sent from the portable telephone terminal is not received (NO in #2), and changes the power supply circuit into the standby state (#5), if the operating state of the power supply circuit is in the on state (YES in #4). Consequently, the power supply circuit of the TV receiving set can be automatically switched to the standby state, even if the user forgets to turn off the power supply of the TV receiving set on the occasion of going out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
