PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device easily validating/invalidating an input from a touch pad, achieving automatic switching with excellent operability. SOLUTION: The input device has: a frame for forming a keyboard on which a plurality of keys are arranged; a touch pad part provided at a palm rest part on the front side which is a part of the frame and touch detectors provided at positions on both sides of the touch pad part and for invalidating an input from the touch pad part when the respective touch detectors are simultaneously operated.
