The locking unit (1) for fastening a pack (2) on a cycle luggage rack (4) comprises a snap-hook (8) which fits over a cross-bar (3) of the rack. The hook is spring-loaded towards the closed position and can be released using a strap (16) connecting it to the pack. Independent claims are included for: (A) packs fitted with the unit; and (B) luggage racks for sue with them.
