<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a hologram recording medium which enables different original images to be reproduced upon observation from different positions, and also enables images with high resolution to be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: On an XYZ coordinate system, two original images Ia, Ib are defined as the aggregates of point light sources P11, P12, respectively. On the coordinate system, a prescribed recording surface 20 and prescribed reference light R are set, and further, two observation areas Oa, Ob are set. Interference fringe patterns formed on the recording surface 20 by object light La1 to Lb2 from the point light sources composing the respective original images and the reference light R are obtained by calculation, and are recorded on a physical medium. At this time, regarding the physical light from the point light source P11 belonging to the original image Ia, the calculation in consideration only of the light arriving at the observation area Oa is performed, and regarding the physical light from the point light source P21 belonging to the original image Ib, the calculation in consideration only of the light arriving at the observation area Ob is performed. When observation is performed from the observation area Oa, the original image Ia is reproduced, and when observation is performed from the observation area Ob, the original image Ib is reproduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
