Method of managing access to a time division multiple access network that is distributed over time segments of predetermined duration (P_TDMA), for at least one station (ST_i, ST_j, ST_k) having at least one data stream to be sent or received through said network, in which a stream to be sent/received during the next time period of duration P_TDMA, is allocated a network access authorization duration, dependent on an access authorization mean duration (txop_m(i,n)) and a mean number of lost packets (lost_m(i,n)), said mean duration and said mean number relating to a time period of duration P_MI comprising at least one past time period of duration P_TDMA.
